We’ve been burning bear bricks on and off for about two weeks now (mostly in the late evenings), so we were able to warm up most of the house to about 72 degrees today without ever tapping into our B100 biodiesel. This is fortunate because today is the day that we replace our furnace heater core. I’ll post soon about the heater core changes, but in the interim, we’re living super warm thanks to the bear bricks, purchased this year at $199 for a full pallet at Coastal Farm and Ranch. We picked-up a pallet on August 31, the final day of their super August sale, which reduced the price on a pallet of bear bricks from $249 to $199.
